We are lucky to have such a fantastic outdoor environment with a lovely garden, allotment as well as lots of lovely fields, trees and orchards that the children can explore. 

Our garden is split into two areas with a play based side which has an astroturf ground covering which enables all year round use and a more natural side with a bark chip ground covering.

The play based side of the garden has got play houses, scooters, bikes, cars, balls, skipping ropes, obstacle courses and much more which all encourage the childrens gross motor skills and social skills.

Our natural garden has contains our large mud kitchen area, digging zone, fairy garden and gravel pit which all contain a vast range of real life resources for the children to play with. 

Our allotment is a short walk away from nursery and this is where the children enjoy learning about growing as we plant a range of vegetables every year. We have a lovely natural area where the children can roam amongst the trees and pick their own pieces of fruit from our fruit trees. 

We also allow the children to freely explore the allotment safe with their keyworker, looking at what other allotment holders are growing and also using the natural growing willow teepee, fruit orchard and pavilion which we use as an outdoor class room
